Mara and Luke are one of the most inspiring couples I know. They give a lot to their community, work hard, and know how to have fun (check out their rock band The Omecs sometime!)! I felt honored when they invited me to capture their Las Vegas elopement and more than thrilled to shoot their ceremony at the striking Neon Sign Museum! Between after party gambling, tiki bars, and a road trip deep into the desert to watch the stars at area 51...it was a trip of a lifetime and insanely fun to jump into the imaginations of these creative geniuses! Congrats Mara + Luke!!
Words can't describe how beautiful this wedding was! Here are a couple of quick previews of Lauren + Kevin's lovely fall wedding...
Our photos made it to print! Thanks Sally + Nick for having such a lovely wedding + also thanks to Jacki Warren Photography for second shooting! Rock 'n Roll Bride did such a cool job with the layout for the feature and I can't wait to have a copy in my hands soon! Nick and Sally are one of the most actively artistic couples I've had the pleasure of knowing for years now. I was so excited when they told me their wedding was going to take place at one of the first boy's camps in the US, Camp Tosebo! With the help of a huge crew of creative friends they converted this historic summer camp into a magical celebration space that included a gorgeous macrame alter piece created by Sally herself! This wedding had so many details; handmade flags and signs at every turn, a dreamy floral mandala that radiated around a tiny fire where two fairy ring bearers burned sage during the ceremony...racks of warm quilts, baskets of colorful friendship bracelets, painted antique plates resting under big yellow apples pinned with hand-scripted name cards...and did I mention the food? ...Cedar plank salmon, Bacon-y baked beans and Grilled corn in the husk by Chef Chad Miller and a lovely cake with berries by Gwen Freas...and to top this all off...I've got to note...the DANCING...and I think the pics will explain the rest:)
